BURAK GURMERIC

Born in İstanbul, in 1977, I started my career in design as a windowdresser. While in college studying industrial design, I was already producing in collaboration with artists and designers in a vast array of disciplines like graphic design, furniture design, product design, showcase design and interior design. I’ve carried out projects for different brands since 1999; working with several designers and studios. Shining through all the work done, I see a culture of collective work between design and marketing departments, timeless product designs that add value to the brand journey, reworking trends into the brand DNA, and the genuine conversations we had with employees of all levels in the furniture industry. These were the things that kept us going every day, coming up with successful products and projects.
